EHS set to graduate 96 seniors Saturday

Eudora High School graduation ceremonies for the Eudora class of 2008 will be Saturday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the EHS gym.

EHS student council president to stay involved in college

Connor Hartpence has excelled at most things he’s done during his academic career in the Eudora schools. He is in the top 10 percent of his class with a 4.6 grade point average, a Kansas ACT Scholar, won various scholarships and is president of the student council. So, it is puzzling when he says one of the things he’ll miss most about high school is one of the few things in which he participated that wasn’t a success.

Over the 15 year period that the Frontier league has held the league art festival, Eudora High school has never finished lower than third place, and that trend continued May 7 as EHS art students won the contest portion of the festival.

One season after advancing all the way to the state tournament finals, Eudora’s season came to an end just as its postseason was getting started. The Cardinals lost 3-2 to Santa Fe Trail in a thrilling first round match-up in the regional tournament.
