Private graveside inurnment services for Duke William Robinson, 95, Baldwin, were held Saturday at Eudora Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, at Baldwin Care Center.
He was born March 7, 1905, in Norman, Okla. He moved to Baldwin recently from Raytown, Mo.
Mr. Robinson served in the U.S. Army during World War I and World War II. He was a grocer for Kroger`s Grocery Store for 10 years and for Just Rite for 25 years. He also worked at Wild Woody`s after his retirement in 1973.
He married Clara Medley on Oct. 27, 1938, in Winfield. She died in 1999.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Christopherson, Eudora; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
An infant daughter, Judy Robinson, died in 1941, and a grandchild died in 1995.
The family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, Lawrence.
