Services for Dorothy Ellen Chesney, 78, Olathe, were Wednesday, Feb. 21, at W.L. Frye and Son Funeral Home, Olathe. Burial was at Grinter Heights Cemetery in Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. Chesney died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at the Center for Long Term Care, Olathe.
She was born Sept. 9, 1913, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Marshall F. and Nellie (Lundblade) Lee.
She married David Chesney Feb. 29, 1929. He died June 16, 1989.
Survivors include a son, Herbert H. Chesney, Parachute, Colo.; a daughter, Mary Ellen Paulson, Eudora; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
