Two Lawrence men arrested in Eudora burglary
Two men have been arrested in connection with a Eudora burglary.
On Feb. 13, Douglas County deputies arrested Jordan G. Haag, 18, and Joshua Mitchell, 23..
Haag's address is listed as 1834 W. 28th St. in Lawrence. No address was available for Mitchell, but authorities said he was also from Lawrence.
Lt. Kathy Tate of the Douglas County Sheriff's Department said the two men have been charged in connection with the Feb. 12 burglary of a home at 757 E. 2000 Rd. The home is owned by Dennis and Sandra Lawson.
According to the police report, the residents reported that more than $4,5000 worth of items were stolen from their home sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 5:50 p.m.
The residents were not home at the time of the burglary.
Among the items missing were a computer system, two televisions, a shotgun, a handgun and a video cassette recorder.
Also listed as missing on the police report were six bottles of wine coolers.
Tate said she could say if there was a connection between the suspects and the vicitms in the case.
"That's all still confidential as the investigation continues," she said.
No court date has been set in the case, Tate said.
