Cardinals lose one, win one
Melanie Smith hurled both games of Eudora's season opening twin bill at Pleasant Ridge Tuesday helping her cause with a 2-for-3 hitting performance in each contest.
The Cardinals dropped the first game 14-5, but came back in the nightcap to win 8-6.
Junior Andrea Ahrens keyed the victory with a bases loaded triple in the five-run fourth inning.
