Services for Hazel Marie Hayden-Tesch, 82, Lawrence, were Sunday, March 25, at Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel, Fort Scott. Burial was in Centerville Cemetery.
Mrs. Hayden-Tesch died Thursday, March 22, 2001, at her daughter's home in Lawrence.
She was born May 19, 1918, in Mapleton, the daughter of Emery and Rosie Hall Rhoades. She moved to Eudora in 1951 and moved to her daughter's home in 1995.
Mrs. Hayden-Tesch worked at Hercules Powder Plant, DeSoto, from 1951 to 1954. She was a member of Devon Baptist Church.
She married Dwain Hayden-Tesch on Aug. 24, 1935, in Nevada, Mo. He died Dec. 23, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Jimmie Tesch, Eudora; two daughters, JoAnn Hayden Hunsaker, Eudora, and Connie Ford, Lawrence; a sister, Vera Mann, Fort Scott; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Alzheimer's Assn., sent in care of the chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott 66701.
