Services for Joe Edler, 77, Baldwin, were Monday, May 7, at Wilson and Son Chapel, Wellsville. Burial was in Wellsville Cemetery.
Mr. Edler died Friday, May 4, 2001, in Pomona.
He was born May 12, 1923, in Baldwin, the son of Albert and Olive (Vitt) Edler. He attended Rosco grade schools.
Mr. Edler served in World War II. He later farmed in the Clearfield area and owned and operated a trucking business for many years. He was a member of the Ottawa Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include a sister, Mable Kalb, Baldwin; a stepson, Darrell Otto, Baldwin; and two stepdaughters, Gynith Foster, Fort Smith, Ark., and Kathy Leach, Pomona.
An infant son died earlier.
The family suggests memorials to Deay Cemetery, sent in care of Wilson and Son Chapel, P. O. Box 486, Wellsville 66092.
