Services for Orville P. Cline, 94, Atchison, formerly of Cummings, were Monday, Jan. 21 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, Atchison County.
Mr. Cline died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at Atchison Medicalodge.
He was born July 14, 1907, in Cummings, the son of Charles C. and Elizabeth C. (Lucius) Cline. He graduated from Potter High School in 1925.
Mr. Cline was a farmer in the Cummings area until he retired in 1982.
He was a member of Cummings United Methodist Church. He was a leader for the Curlew 4-H Club. He had received many awards for showing cattle.
Survivors include a brother, Leonard Cline, Atchison; and two sisters, Susan Durkin, Eudora, and Ruth Durkin, Atchison.
The family suggests memorials to the activity fund at Atchison Medicalodge, sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, 800 Kansas Ave., Atchison 66002.
