Services for Selma L. Henak, 84, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 at the Porter Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Henak died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born April 19, 1917, in Linwood, and had been a resident of Kansas City, Kan., most of her life.
She married Frank G. Henak Sept. 11, 1939. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Henak was a homemaker.
Mrs. Henak was a member of Grandview Baptist Church and the Proctor and Gamble Retirees Club.
Other survivors include two sons, Larry M. Henak and Earl D. Henak, both of Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Joyce Annette Ranes, Overland Park; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials in her name to Grandview Baptist Church, sent in care of the funeral home, 1835 Minn. Ave., Kansas City, Kan. 66102.
