Memorial services for Waneta F. Thrift, 80, Linwood, were Saturday, Jan. 19 at Emmaus Lutheran Church, Bonner Springs. Burial was in Clinton Cemetery.
Mrs. Thrift died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 21, 1921, in Lawrence, the daughter of Bruce and Maude R. (Murphy) Greff.
Mrs. Thrift was a homemaker.
She married Sam Thrift in 1952 in Kansas City, Kan. He died earlier.
Survivors include three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A son, J.R. Harris Thrift, died earlier.
Mortician's Service, Kansas City, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests memorials to the church, 12900 Kansas Ave., 66012.
