- The Eudora High School football team has advanced further in the state playoffs than anytime in its history. This accomplishment should be a matter of pride for the community. For the vast majority of Cardinals fans, it is. But unfortunately as is all-to-often the case in sports there is a small percentage of fans who can’t enjoy a sporting event for what it is.

Neither boy liked the cranberry sauce because it was too sour, but Kaup and Bagwell agreed the pumpkin custard was tasty. The third-graders made the treats in their classrooms.

- Eudora High School will have a community pep rally at 7 p.m. Thursday in the high school gym, 2635 Church St. to show support to the football team and coaching staff before the sub-state game against Fort Scott Friday night at Laws Field.
