Tornedens to celebrate 45th anniversary
Carl and Stanett Torneden, Eudora, will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 26 at Eudora City Hall, 4 East Seventh St.
The Tornedens were married Dec. 28, 1957.
The open house will be hosted by their children: Rodney Torneden, Wellington; Greg Torneden, Overbrook; Leticia Torneden, Allen, Texas; Troy Torneden and Darren Torneden, both of Lawrence; Sherry Sajowski, Shelby Township, Mich.; Jerry Torneden, Tijeras, N.M.; and Becky Torneden, Dallas, Texas. The couple also have 26 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The couple request no gifts.
