Services for Guy Edward Webb, 74, Lawrence, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
He died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Webb was born Sept. 20, 1928, in Lawrence, the son of Guy and Opal Lorene (Needles) Webb. He was a lifelong Lawrence resident.
He was a machine operator for Lawrence Paper Co. and retired after 43 years.
Mr. Webb married Ruby Faye Sellars on April 17, 1949, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Joyce Arlene Webb, Lawrence; a son, Ronald Edward Webb, Eudora; three brothers, Edwin Webb, David Webb and Larry Webb; and four sisters, Edith Kelsey, Carol Chastain, Dorothy Williams and Rosie Milburn; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from noon until service time Thursday. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Assn., sent in care of the funeral home.
