Services for Donald Jake "Rusty" Hodge, 73, Seattle, were Thursday, Nov. 18 in Kent, Wash.
Mr. Hodge died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Wash.
He was born Sept. 18, 1931, in Ramona, Okla., the son of Jess "Bud" and Pearl Symonds Hodge. He attended Ramona public schools and graduated from Ramona High School.
Mr. Hodge served in the U.S. Army for 14 years and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a computer programmer for the city of Lawrence in the 1960s. He later worked for Sears, Roebuck & Co., as an appliance repairman. He moved to Seattle in the 1970s.
He married Dorothy Foster in 1950. They divorced.
Survivors include his mother, Eudora; two sons, Donnie Hodge, Tukwila, Wash., and Don Hodge, Hutchinson; three daughters, Karen Osquisa, Kathy Fitzpatrick and Betty Jean Hodge, all of Kent, Wash.; two sisters, Sandy Clark, Eudora, and Peggy Brown, Hutchinson; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Pioneer Ridge Activities Department, 4851 Harvard Road, Lawrence 66049.
