White Thanksgiving?
Early morning snowfall makes Eudora a pre-winter wonderland Wednesday
The Eudora area received between five and seven inches of snow Wednesday, making for a pretty panorama -- and a few fallen trees. A tree in front of the Eudora United Methodist Church, at Seventh and Main streets, was broken off Wednesday afternoon. A few other older trees in Eudora fell victim to the snowfall, too.
Meteorologists at Channel 6 News predict a high of 47 degrees -- but no snow -- for the Thanksgiving holiday Thursday. Meteorologists predict no more snow possible until Sunday.
Channel 6 and The Eudora News are both owned by The World Company.
