Extra trash pickups for holiday

Weldon Enterprises, the trash disposal company for the city of Eudora, will dispose of additional trash that won’t fit into the 95-gallon trash containers on regular trash pick up days Dec. 26 to 31, as long as it is bagged.

During normal weeks, trash left outside the 95-gallon containers in plastic bags or non-conforming containers will not be picked up. Eudora residents who have more trash than what will fit into the blue trash containers can get another trash receptacle for $3 more per month or make other arrangements with Weldon Enterprises for special pickup. There will be an additional charge for the service.
