Weldon Enterprises, the trash disposal company for the city of Eudora, will dispose of additional trash that won’t fit into the 95-gallon trash containers on regular trash pick up days through Dec. 31 only, as long as it is bagged.

- The regular meeting of the East Central Kansas Cooperative in Education Board of Directors was Dec. 11. Because of inclement weather the meeting took place by conference call. Members participating in the conference call meeting were Blaine Cone, Susan Rader, Ande Parks, Ardith Bell, director Caren Lowe, and clerk of the board Sue Martin. Jim Martin and Belinda Rehmer were unable to participate.

- The Danny and Lee Trimble family are accepting donations for “Project Bucca” through Tuesday. The Trimble family set up the program to help local soldiers serving in Iraq.
