Taking the plunge
Eudora Mayor Tom Pyle takes a plunge down the water slide Saturday at the Eudora Aquatic Center, 1638 Elm St., during the grand opening of the complex. The $1 million pool was part of a $3.8 million bond issue that also will include a recreation center. The center is scheduled to open in September.
