Police Report
Sunday/May 27
- Disturbance. At about 12 a.m. in the 900 block of Cedar Street, officers responded to a noise disturbance.
- Alarm. At about 10:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of Cardinal Drive, officers responded to a business alarm. It was determined to be an alarm malfunction upon arrival.
Wednesday/May 30
- Code violation. At about 10:45 a.m., officers took a report of an unlawful electrical connection. Officers forwarded the report to the district attorney.
- Verbal dispute. At about 1 p.m. in the area of 10th and Maple streets, officers responded to a verbal dispute. Officers found the situation resolved upon arrival.
- Dispute. At about 1:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of Pine Street, officers responded to a neighborhood dispute. Officers found the situation resolved upon arrival.
- Disturbance. At about 2:30 p.m. in the area of Grandview Mobile Home Park, officers responded to a verbal disturbance. Officers found the situation resolved upon arrival.
- 911 hang up. At about 2:50 p.m. in the 1000 block of Fir Street, officers investigated a 911 hang-up call. Officers determined it to be an Internet problem.
- Telephone harassment. At about 9:50 p.m. in the area of Grandview Mobile Home Park officers took a report of a telephone harassment call. The case is still under investigation.
Thursday/May 31
- Accident. At about 12:20 p.m. in the 700 block of Main Street, officers worked a one-car non-injury accident.
Saturday/June 2
- Leaving the scene accident. At about 3:05 a.m. in the area of Kansas Highway 10 mile marker 11, officers assisted the Douglas County Sheriff's Department in searching for a car involved in a leaving the scene accident. The vehicle was not located.
- Stolen vehicle. At about 7:45 p.m. in the area of K-10 mile marker 11, officers assisted Lawrence police in searching for a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was not located.
- Burglary. At about 9:25 p.m. in the 900 block of Maple Street, officers took a burglary report. Officers haven't determined any suspect information. Officers recovered a stolen shotgun, which has been returned. The case is still under investigation.
