Eudora High School seniors-to-be Logan Hartpence and Connor Hartpence have been named All-American Scholars by the United States Achievement Academy.
The award offers recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. The All-American Scholars must earn a 3.3 or higher grade point average.
The Hartpences will appear in the All-American Scholar Yearbook, which is published nationally.
The Academy selects All-American Scholars upon the exclusive recommendation of teachers, coaches, counselors and other qualified sponsors.
The Hartpences were nominated for the awards by EHS counselor Paul Walrod.
Logan and Connor are the sons of Vicki Johnson, Eudora, and Doug Hartpence, Lawrence. Their grandparents are Pat Laws and George and Aileen Hartpence, all of Lawrence, and Larry and Loretta Gantenbein, Eudora.
