Pinecrest news
The March birthday party will be at 5 p.m. Friday in Pinecrest II clubroom.
Those celebrating March birthdays include Tillie Bichelmeyer, Michael High, Bettie Pettie, Kay Isaacs and Dianne Owens.
Southern Care Hospice will be at Pinecrest II clubroom from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday to play bingo with the residents.
Gina Thompkins and children Amanda and Mason, Lone Jack, Mo., visited their mother and grandmother Clarice Morriss Sunday afternoon.
Barbara Earnheart, Linwood, took her mother, Betty Ryan, and Bud Nielson to her home for dinner Sunday evening.-
I talked to Tillie Bichelmeyer at the hospital Monday morning. She is recovering slowly and her heart attack didn't do any damage. It was just a bump in the road to recovery, Tillie said.
Kenneth and Janet Vorhies, Lawrence, visited his mother, Alta Vorhies, Sunday afternoon.
Beverly Johnson and I visited Gertrude Coon Friday morning at Vintage Park nursing center in Baldwin City. We went out for lunch afterward.
My daughter Sharon Musick and my two great-great-granddaughters Aftyn and Trinity Hankins visited Tiffany Musick and her infant son Salim Luke at Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Sunday. Salim had lost eight ounces, but was back up to 4 pounds 13-1/2 ounces. He is so tiny, but has a sweet little round face.
