Eudora Middle School track results
The Eudora Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade girls competed as a combined team April 26 at the Wellsville Eagle Relays. Field events are scored as a team in this meet.
Two school records were broken.
Jen Bowser broke the seventh-grade long jump record previously held by Rachel Abel with a jump of 14 feet 6 inches.
Victoria Lehmann broke the seventh-grade shot put record previously held by Amanda Graff with a throw of 31 feet.
Team scores -- 1. Wheatridge 68, Baldwin 56, Wellsville 33, Paola 33, Eudora 32, Spring Hill 27.

The seventh- and eighth-grade boys combined to form one team at the Wellsville Middle School Eagle Relays April 26.
Team scores -- 1. Wellsville 55; 2. Eudora 51; 3. Wheatridge 48; 4. Baldwin 36; 5. Paola 35; 6. Spring Hill 25.
In the field events, groups of three athletes competed individually. Their performances were added together to make a Eudora team score.
Placing first for Eudora in the field events were:
High jump (team A) -- Christian Richardson, Daniel Nabus and Tyler Miller
On the track, all of the running events were relays.
First-place team finishers
400 relay: Chris Pyle, Christian Richardson, Juan Ramirez, Ryan Mendel (50.3)
3200 relay: Tyler Miller, Juan Ramirez, Ivan Espinosa, Ryan Mendel (9:55.1)
First-place individual finishers
High jump: 1. Christian Richardson 5-3
Hurdles: 1. Caleb Clayton-Molby 15.0
The team also competed at the Eudora Middle School Invitational April 30 at Laws Field.
The seventh-grade girls team claimed the championship and the eighth-grade girls took sixth. The seventh-grade boys were fourth and the eighth-grade boys were second.

Eudora will finish its middle school season at the league track meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at Spring Hill.
