I would like to urge the Eudora voters to think hard on the school bond issue at hand. Our city is not in need of a new school sitting on a large 46-acre plot of land. We need more classroom space, but this bond is too much for our citizens to pay for.
We, as a city, can plan for more classrooms to be added onto our existing schools to keep the student-to-teacher ratio at a good, low level. The plan now is way overblown and is so extravagant, it should be voted down.
I urge a no vote. It is a smart vote. Spend our money on education, not extravagant unnecessary buildings.
