‘Project Bucca’ donations sought
The Danny and Lee Trimble family are seeking donations for "Project Bucca," a program set up to help local soldiers serving in Iraq.
Needed items include coffee, coffee filters, toothpaste, surgical gloves, hand sanitizers, deodorant, baby wipes, international phone cards, men's socks and Q-tips. Other items include baked goods, candy, beef jerky and DVD movies. Monetary donations to help with shipping costs will also be accepted.
Donation barrels are set up at Simple Simon's Pizza, Eudora Aquatic Community Center, Eudora City Hall and Coffee Talk through Jan. 1, 2008.
