Funeral services for Helen Marie Pearson, 77, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.

Mrs. Pearson died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 14, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Nina Putney Hart.

Mrs. Pearson was a homemaker. She later worked at Hallmark Cards as a machine operator for 15 years before she retired.

She married Eddie Pearson on July 8, 1962, in Lawrence. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Randy Pearson, Linwood, and Russell Pearson, Eudora; a brother, Charles Hart, Denton, Texas; a sister, Ruby Hart, Des Moines, Iowa; and two grandchildren.

Her sister, Thelma Poore, preceded her in death.

The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
