Allison Cardman pats a snowball into the jacket of her grandfather Charles Cole as he clears snow Wednesday from his driveway on Locust Street. A storm Tuesday night and Wednesday morning dumped more than six inches of snow on Eudora, closing down school for the day. By early afternoon the snow had stopped and the sun was out, melting most snow on busy roads and streets.
