New home construction such as this work in the Meadowlark subdivision has been rare in recent years. With the decline in new home starts from triple digits earlier this decade to single digits the past two years, Eudora's population increases have fallen off as well. Still, a U.S. Census Bureau update released last week estimates the city grew by 55 residents from July 1, 2006, to June 30, 2007.
