During the worst of Monday's midday storm, a car turns west from the small stream that was Main Street to the deeper waters of Ninth Street at the northeast corner of CPA Park. Water was well above floor board level near the curbs on both streets during the deluge. The National Weather Center lifted a severe weather warning for Douglas County at about 12:30 p.m.
