The students were told if they left the premises before the activities were finished, their parents would be called so they would know they were on the way home, and the student was not allowed back inside. Each all-night prom participant was also invited to join in numerous games that took place throughout the wee hours of the morning.

Hundreds of donated prizes were given away throughout the night, but at the end of the event, each junior and senior received one prize ranging anywhere from $25 to $200. Prizes included dorm refrigerators, stereos, X-Box games, PS2 systems and more. Jim Lauer, seated at the table, read off the winners as Marge Epperson and Kara Williams stood nearby and recorded the information.
